Shipping Policy
General Information and Shipping Area
Online orders are shipped early in the week (Monday through Wednesday). Orders are shipped through a fulfillment company that works with UPS.
Shipping is handled in this manner because all our products are shipped frozen and can’t be held in transit over the weekend. Orders received in the latter part of the week and on weekends are shipped early the following week. We’re not able to deliver your package on Sunday, Monday, or a UPS holiday.
All orders are shipped 2-day UPS ground. Our current shipping territory is highlighted in yellow and brown below. We currently cannot ship outside of this area. We plan on expanding our shipping area in the future.
How Do We Do It?
Our products are shipped frozen and are packed in a cooler within a shipping box that includes enough dry ice to keep contents frozen well into the evening of the delivery date. It’s best to open your package immediately upon arrival and place the product in your freezer. Please use gloves when handling the dry ice. Dry ice temperature is approximately -110 degrees Fahrenheit!
Shipping Costs
Our shipping box holds 6 packages (72 pierogi) so each set of six that you order ships in an individual box. Because of that, our fixed shipping costs are applied to each item ordered.
Standard Shipping
Your package will arrive in 3 – 10 business days (or less) from the day we receive your order. The timeframe will depend on what day of the week you place your order. Orders received late in the week will be held for shipment on the following Monday. Your package will arrive Tuesday through Friday and perhaps on Saturday if possible.
No Signature Required
UPS is authorized to leave all packages at the delivery address without a signature. This helps ensure that you’ll receive your package on time and that our product won’t thaw due to multiple delivery attempts.
Order Tracking
You’ll receive an email with your tracking number when the shipping label for your package is created.
Our Guarantee
In order to guarantee delivery, we must have the correct and complete delivery address. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we’re not able to deliver to PO Boxes, A.P.O, or F.P.O addresses.
